Water parameters: Maintain stable water conditions within the following parameters: temperature between 75-82°F (24-28°C), pH around 8.1-8.4, and specific gravity between 1.020 and 1.025. Regular monitoring of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels is essential, and it's important to keep them at safe and stable levels.
Tank setup: Provide plenty of live rock and/or coral formations to create hiding spots, shelter, and territories for the butterflyfish. These fish appreciate swimming among branching corals and rocky structures. Ensure adequate water flow and filtration to maintain water quality.
Lighting: Pakistani butterflyfish generally prefer moderate to high lighting levels. Use appropriate lighting systems for reef aquariums to support the health and growth of corals and other photosynthetic organisms in the tank.
Diet: Pakistani butterflyfish are omnivorous, primarily feeding on coral polyps, small invertebrates, and filamentous algae in the wild.
