Reef Magic is a saltwater, freshwater, and coral aquarium store located in Boone NC. Reef magic was founded in 1992 and is the oldest and largest fish store in the high country, as well as one of the largest in North Carolina. We are a fully equipped Aquarium store specializing in all things aquatic. We are a local business and love to support other local businesses in our community and yours. We have an additional 1800 sq ft coral farm tending to aquaponics and aquaculture off sight. We are avid environmentalist and do our best to only support brands and use companies who support our oceans and our globe as a whole.

Your livestock is guaranteed to arrive alive. We understand shipping livestock can be stressful to some. We guarantee your coral will arrive healthy and your fish and other livestock will arrive alive. If anything arrives dead just simply fill out our DOA form and get a full refund on any dead livestock. We take the utmost care in shipping fish and livestock and go the extra mile to cup all corals and fish are sealed with ammonia dissolvent and heating pads are cooling pads when necessary. Everything is boxed in styrofoam coolers for safe transport.
Large Saltwater Fish & Invertebrates Selection
Reef Magic is the primary place for saltwater fish in Boone, North Carolina. We have a wide variety of reef safe and non-reef safe fish suitable for large and small aquariums. Our staff have good knowledge and can help advise which fish would be best compatible for your aquarium.
We also keep a wide variety of invertebrates including hermit crabs, shrimp, starfish, urchins, snails, cucumbers, and more.
Large Freshwater Fish & Invertebrates Selection
In addition to the saltwater fish, we are also have one of the largest selections of freshwater fish. We have community fish, semi-aggressive, and aggressive fish to choose from. Algae eaters are also in supply as well.
Within our freshwater selection we also keep a good stock of freshwater inverts such as various species of snails, fiddler crabs, and shrimp.
Corals & Plants
Reef Magic carries a huge selection of coral frags and colonies of all shapes, sizes, and species. Our selection includes, Euphyllia, SPS, LPS, and more!
We also carry a large variety of aquatic plants for freshwater aquariums. We have ground plants and surface cover plants such as water lettuce, duckweed, and more.
